Registered Dietitian – DME Clinical Liaison

Job Overview

Clinical & Patient Care

• Deliver and set up enteral feeding pumps and related DME equipment in hospital and community settings

• Provide hands-on education to patients and caregivers on pump use and troubleshooting

• Advise on enteral formulas, pump issues, and nutrition-related concerns

• Document equipment delivery and patient education

Hospital, Homecare & Referral Coordination

• Support hospital discharge planning with pump teaches

• Collaborate with MGA Homecare nursing teams

• Support patients within MGA Homecare’s existing census

• Represent Ward Road Pharmacy in hospital and non-hospital settings

DME Awareness & Care Coordination

• Maintain working knowledge of incontinence, ostomy, wound care, and disposable DME

• Identify additional patient needs and coordinate warm handoffs to intake

Operations & Intake Collaboration

• Coordinate orders, documentation, and delivery timelines

• Assist with issue resolution impacting onboarding or continuity of care

Vendor & Relationship Management

• Maintain relationships with DME and enteral vendors

• Serve as clinical liaison for pump and formula manufacturers

Additional Job Description Information

Required Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), active license

• Experience with enteral nutrition and pump education

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in DME, homecare, or discharge planning

• Familiarity with common enteral pump platforms
